BASKET OF HOPE This month we are collecting canned and boxed foods for the Interfaith Center in Escondido. Their food pantry is very low on supplies and they need things for their clients. Add a few items to your grocery list and bring them next time you come to church!
PASTOR'S CLASS There is a Lenten series offered on Wednesdays-in the morning at 9:30 am in the Fireside room and at 7pm in the Chapel. It is focusing on the new life Jesus offers us. It is led by Rev Barbara Noyes.
MEN'S CLUB Successful whale watching trip enjoyed by many! The golf tournament is Sat, March 8 at 8am at Oaks North. It is for men and WOMEN and TEENS who enjoy the game. The cost is $52 and includes a cart and lunch. Contact the church office to sign up.
The group meets the first Saturday of the month at Kountry Kafe at 8am for breakfast. They will be planning the big fundraiser in June and are looking for help in getting donations to auction off for Father's Day gifts.
WOMEN FELLOWSHIP The meetings are the first Saturday of the month. Place will be listed in the Echo and the weekly Buzz.
SPADRES WORKERS NEEDED We are looking for volunteers to work at a concession stand at the Padre games on Saturday games. We made over $12,000 in funds for the church last year so let the church office know if you can help. Games start in early April. We need 15 people per game to run the booth. Each person will only need to work 3 games if we get a total of 60 workers.
